SPIE Global Services Energy is hiring an experienced PV Technician in Qatar to support operation and maintenance of large-scale solar power plants. You will do preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on PV plant equipment, test and maintain transformers, switchgear and protection relays, maintain MV/LV motors and vacuum circuit breakers, carry out MV/HV cable jointing and termination, support substations up to 33kV, and perform switching and isolation under safety procedures. Requirements: diploma or technical certificate in electrical engineering or similar, at least 5 years of O&M experience on solar plants of 100 MWp and above, and strong troubleshooting skills; PLC, HMI, HVAC and instrumentation experience is a plus.
