An Autograph Collection hotel (Marriott International) in Al Shahaniya, Qatar is hiring a full-time General Technician for its Engineering & Facilities team. You will respond to guest repair requests, do preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment, locate and operate shut-off valves, keep maintenance inventory, and handle surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs, light bulb and A/C filter replacement. You will also troubleshoot and do basic repairs on plumbing, electrical components, switches and outlets and guestroom items, and use Lockout/Tagout before any maintenance work. Basic knowledge of A/C and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry is expected.
